Insight: The Art of the Pivot
Sometimes, the most "spiritual" thing we can do is change our plans. In I Samuel 23, David is constantly consulting God, not just for big missions, but for exit strategies. When he learns that his presence is putting the people of Keilah in danger, he doesn't double down or pridefully stand his ground. He pivots. As parents, we often treat our family schedules like unchangeable laws. But David shows us that true strength is the wisdom to read the room, recognize when a situation has turned, and have the courage to "move about wherever" we need to keep our family safe and steady.
