Text Snapshot
Our text today is from the Book of Numbers, chapter 15:
G-d said to Moses... “Speak to the Israelite people and instruct them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout the ages... That shall be your fringe; look at it and recall all G-d’s commandments and observe them, so that you do not follow your heart and eyes in your urge to stray. Thus you shall be reminded to observe all My commandments and to be holy to your G-d.”

Insight 1: A Visual Nudge
G-d knew we'd need help remembering! This mitzvah of tzitzit (TSEE-tseet), or fringes, isn't just decoration. It's a physical, visual reminder hanging right there on your clothes, like a spiritual sticky note.
Insight 2: Staying True to Yourself
The text says tzitzit help us "not follow your heart and eyes in your urge to stray." We all get distracted. These fringes are meant to help us pause, remember our values, and make choices that feel right to our deepest selves. It’s like a tiny personal coach!
Apply It
This week, try picking one small, physical reminder in your daily life. Maybe it's a specific ring, a photo, or even a sticky note on your computer. Take just 5 seconds to look at it and remember something important to you – a goal, a value, or a person you love.
