Hook

Have you ever stood in front of a birthday cake holding a giant knife, suddenly paralyzed because the knife is aimed directly between the "H" and the "a" in "Happy Birthday"? Or maybe you have tried to peel apart two pages of an old paperback that got glued together by an unfortunate coffee splash, wondering if you are about to destroy a masterpiece or just fix a book.

We highlight books, scratch off lottery tickets, rip open delivery boxes with our keys, and tear paper towels off the roll along tiny perforated lines without giving any of it a second thought.
