Hook

As a founder, you are obsessed with "product-market fit." You spend your days agonizing over whether your feature set is robust enough to capture value or if it’s merely a "nice-to-have" that gets discarded when the budget tightens. You constantly audit your assets: Is this code base a core differentiator, or is it technical debt disguised as a feature?

The real dilemma isn't just knowing what you have; it’s knowing how your product is perceived and categorized by the market. If you misidentify your product’s primary utility—treating a luxury tool as a commodity, or a mission-critical infrastructure piece as an optional add-on—you lose control of your unit economics. You end up burning capital on "shield" features that don't protect, or "wagon" features that can't carry the weight of your growth.
