Have you ever looked at a cluttered desk and felt your stress levels spike? Or maybe you have a favorite coffee mug that somehow makes your morning coffee taste ten times better. We live in a world overflowing with physical objects. From our smartphones and laptop chargers to our favorite cozy blankets and kitchen chairs, we are constantly surrounded by "stuff." It is easy to feel like our things are just passive, lifeless objects taking up space in our rooms. But what if your physical belongings are actually speaking to you? What if they hold a secret, invisible map of your emotional and spiritual life?

In this quick 15-minute session, we are going to dive into a surprisingly dusty-looking ancient text that is actually a masterclass in mindfulness. We will explore an old catalog of everyday items: beds, sheets, leather aprons, and baskets. The ancient Jewish Sages (ancient Jewish rabbis and scholars who taught and preserved oral traditions) spent an incredible amount of time categorizing these items. At first glance, it looks like a dry, bureaucratic list of rules. But look a little closer, and you will find a beautiful, warm philosophy about how our physical possessions interact with our inner souls.
