Hook

Founders are obsessed with "product-market fit," but rarely do they obsess over "systemic connectivity." You spend your life building features, hiring teams, and stitching together workflows. You treat every new hire, every API integration, and every sub-module as a discrete unit of value. But the real founder dilemma—the one that kills scale—is the failure to define where the connection ends.

When does a feature stop being part of the core product and start being "dead weight"? When does a subsidiary process stop serving the mission and start introducing systemic technical or ethical debt? We often let processes linger, thinking they are still "connected" to our core value prop, when in reality, they have become detached, bloated, or contaminated.
