Insight: The Beauty of Boundaries
We often think "more is better"—more toys, more activities, more "stuff" for our kids. But Mishnah Kelim 29:4-5 teaches us a counterintuitive lesson: items have a functional limit. In the Mishnah, a tool handle or a balance cord is only "connected" (useful and significant) up to a specific length. Once it exceeds that, it’s just excess weight that hinders the work. Parenting is the same; when we over-schedule or over-complicate our family life, we lose the "grip" on what actually matters. Knowing when to stop—when "enough" is enough—is a sacred skill.
