The Art of "Just Enough"
We often feel like our homes—and our parenting—are falling apart when things get messy. Yet, in Mishnah Kelim 29:8, the Sages engage in a meticulous study of the "connection" between tools and their parts. They define exactly how much of a handle or a cord is considered part of the whole. The big idea? Everything has a functional limit. When we over-extend ourselves or our expectations, we lose the "connection" that makes our efforts meaningful. Sometimes, "good enough" isn’t just a consolation prize—it is the definition of wholeness.
