Insight: The Beauty of the "Good-Enough" Sequence
We often treat our family life like a high-stakes performance—if we miss a step, skip a bedtime story, or lose our temper, we feel we’ve "failed" the obligation of parenting. Maimonides reminds us that while the order of the Megillah matters for the mitzvah, even he acknowledges that human error is inevitable. If you stumble, you don’t have to start from scratch; you just pick up where you left off. Parenting isn't about a perfect, unbroken chain of flawless days; it’s about the intention to keep showing up, even after a "stumble."
