Insight: The Power of Pouring Out
We often think parenting success is measured by output: perfect schedules, healthy meals, or well-behaved children. But Hannah’s story in I Samuel 1:1-18 teaches us that the real work—and the real breakthrough—happens in the "pouring out." When Hannah was misunderstood by the priest Eli, she didn't get defensive. She simply explained, "I have been pouring out my heart to God." As parents, we carry a heavy load of quiet anxieties. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is not "fixing" the chaos, but vocalizing your distress to the Divine. You don’t need to be perfect; you just need to be present and honest about your struggle.
